Calling all bloggers!!!

Looking for people to write articles for the manga section of the site. I find myself not able to read enough to keep the manga section of the site updated, so if you read a lot of manga and want to talk about it here’s your chance. At the same time you will be able to gain links back to your own site. If interested in writing articles on this site shoot me an email here, and I’ll set you up a contributor account.

The rules:

1. No strong profanity… I like to keep the site PG rated, so any strong profanity will be edited or the entire post may be deleted.
2. No ads… I will moderate all posts, and will remove any ad html I find or just delete the post altogether.
3. Links… You can set up a one line (text only) signature to paste at the bottom of your  posts which can contain one link back to your site (considered using a sig plugin, but I feel that pasting your own into the post is more reliable.) No irrelevant links are allowed within the post itself.
4. Posts should have at least 300 words minimum.
5. Moderating… I will read and preview all posts, and will decide whether a post will be approved to appear on the site. I also schedule posts, so the post may be in the queue but not go up on the site right away.
6. Content… I do not want articles copied from other sites. If that was the case I could do that easily myself. I’m looking for original reviews and articles. If I find out you copied another site’s story it will be removed.
7. Posting frequency… Is up to you. I know some site owners who whine about their guest writers not contributing, or deleting accounts of people who don’t post enough, but hey it’s a voluntary thing so if you wanna write a lot then go ahead… If you want to post once in a while I’m fine with that too.
8. Images… Sorry… Only text posts… I will add images myself to each article before it’s published (yeah it sucks, but I don’t want to mess with the security settings on the site). If you do want a particular image in an article then just paste the image’s url at the top of the post, and I’ll upload the file and add it to the post before publishing (provided I approve of the image).

Please keep in mind that I’m a human, and do have a paying job away from this site, so if you submit a request to become an author it may take a little time for me to get back to you, so give me a little time before sending another 50 requests. Also I have no intention of spamming anyone or sending out annoying newsletters, so you will probably only hear from me if there are major issues with the site, or for issues relating to your posts.

Sig line info:

Below is a pre-formatted signature that can be used in posts. You can do something different, but keep it to one line, and text only… Long sigs will be edited. Also the sig must be entered under the HTML tab. If you enter it under the Visual tab then it will appear on the post exactly as it looks with tags and all.
